암튼 ,,,대한민국에서 영향력이 실질적으로 가장강력한 학교가 아닐까 하네요

상당히 거칠게 한마디로 일축해 버리자면,,, 서울대와 그 밖의 대학교라고 말할 수 있을 것이라고 생각합니다. one, others가 되겠죠. 서울대는 오바 더 탑이라는 상징적 의미와 그 파괴성이 갈수록 공고해져 가는 형국을 띄고 있으며 연고대(또는 고연대)는 견제자적인 의미가 갈수록 줄어들고 있다고 생각하고 있습니다. 물론 개개 전공에 따라서 약간씩의 특수성과 개별 편차를 띄기는 하겠으나 전반적인 아웃라인은 그러할 것입니다. 서울대 출신은 '적어도 대학 입시 당시 수준에서는 내가 지존이었다'는, 나 위에는 아무도 없다는 최강의 명제를 가지고 있고 상대방도 '입시 당시에는 자네가 최고였네. 나 인정하네'로 상대를 긍정하고 넘어가는 효과를 많이 내게 됩니다만 연고대로만 와도, '너나 나나 그게 그거다. 너 정도는 내가 어떻게 할 수 있다'는 상대 명제의 성격을 강하게 띄게 됩니다. 이건 논리나 이성의 측면보다는 감성,정글의 적자생존과도 같은 동물적 감각에서 비롯되는 면이 많다고 볼 수 있지요. 물론 서울대 출신이 모든 면에서 뛰어나며 반드시 선구자적 길을 가는 것은 아니지만 어떠한, 유형무형의 어드밴티지는 가지고 있다고 보아야 할 것입니다. 그리고 그 어드밴티지는 다름 아닌 "서울대 출신" 그 자체에 있다고 보아야 할 것이고 나쁘게 말하면 '간판, 학벌주의'가 될 것이고 좋게 말하면 '네임밸류, 명성'이 될 것입니다.
뭐.. 솔직히 고대는 집단적인 성격이 강하고 연대는 개인적인 성격이 강하다고..학교내에서도 그렇게 생각하고 있으니 .. 개인적인 생각으로는 문과는 고>=연 , 이과는 연>=고 라고 생각되긴하는데.. 솔직히 연고대 어느 한쪽이 우월하다고 있을정도의 차이가 있는지는 의문이군요. 공부하는 분위기라... 연대도 보시고 하시는 말씀인지 궁금하네요

그렇게 순위 따저 봤자 세계에선 160밖 대학. 입학 난이도는 세계 톱10 안에 들꺼 같구만..
연대 고대 우위논하는건..... 잉글랜드가 축구 잘하냐 ..아르헨티나가 세냐..그런싸움일듯.. 솔직히...어느학과는 고대가 나을거고 어느쪽은연대가 나을거고 비교가 어렵다고봅니다...
고대가 어총장체제로 돌입한 뒤 하루가 달리 건물이 올라가고 기업후원금이 급증하는등 발전하는 것은 사실이지만 대대로 연대가 고대를 앞서왔죠.. 요 근래의 입학처장의 삽질로 인한 연대문과의 커트라인 붕괴 사건 이외엔 고법을 제외한 거의 모든 과를 연대가 압도하는게 사실이구요. 이과는 말할 것도 없죠.. 고대의 재단인 동아일보가 만들어낸 sky라는 단어와 갭이 크던 두 학교가 연고전을 벌이게 된 것이 사회적 인식에 영향을 줘서 지금의 고>연이라는 말이 나올 수 있게 된 거라고 생각합니다.

The number of highly cited researchers in broad subject categories in life sciences, medicine, physical sciences, engineering and social sciences. The number of articles published in Nature and Science between 2000 and 2004. Only publications of article type are considered. SCI.
